Krismenn (Christophe Le Menn) blazed his own trail. A child of gwerz and kan ha diskan, he converted to writing rap in Breton and made this language sound like no one had done before. In 2017, after playing on stage accompanied by his acoustic instruments looped in real time or accompanied by human-beatbox World champion Alem, Krismenn released a first album mixing rap and songs, electronic music, field-recording and instruments. Actor-dubber, he lends his voice to many films and cartoons in Breton.
Since 2019 he has been collaborating with Teatr Piba as an actor, musician for the art-science project Donvor, an immersive experience that upsets him and in turn makes him want to write for the theater. In 2021, he begins an immersion writing work with people with Alzheimer’s disease in collaboration with Teatr Pipa and the Tréguier hospital center.
