Jannie van der Veen (5 july 1978) is head of education at Theatre company Tryater. She has a lot of experience in working with young people between the ages of 15 and 23 years old. For 10 years she was project leader and drama teacher in secondary vocational education (mbo). Besides her work she also performs as a singer and actor in plays that mostly arise in a community setting. ‘With the people and for the people’ is a well-known phenomenon for her.
